Today could have been much different professionally.

Today could have been something special professionally.

There are no guarantees, but today should have been much different professionally.

There are no guarantees, but today should have been something special professionally.

And yet, it's not.

And there are reasons.

Mistakes were made.

Because mistakes were made, opportunities were lost.

All that is left is pointing fingers or letting it pass.

Pointing fingers burns bridges.

Letting it pass only is a quieter version of pointing fingers by omission.

So, today was just another in a long line of work days.
